I knew that I wanted to work with Laice before I was even engaged. Having followed her work for a while, I just loved how uniquely she captured each couple's love story. Laice completely exceeded my expectations with her creativity, style and eye for design - she understood what Dan and I had envisioned for the day (even though I am terrible at articulating what I want) and brought to life something far beyond what we could have ever imagined. She is highly connected, and has an innate ability of bringing together the right creatives for the job. I say creative over vendor as everyone was truly a master at their craft, and so fun to work with. Doug, the operational and logistics king, ensured a smooth and seamless day. No request was too big or too small, even a very last-minute request for Fireball the day of. What makes them so unique is that they aren't just experts in the events industry, but they combine this with a deep knowledge and understanding of culture, art, food, design and fashion which means the creative direction feels so different to anything else out there. I honestly could not have imagined our wedding without Laice and Doug being a part of it, and wish we could do it all over again!
