RUINART X OTIS HOPE CAREY:

Otis Hope Carey has created five artworks in collaboration with Maison Ruinart.

Each hand-painted, limited edition artwork reflects Carey’s exploration of the bush and the ocean, his Gumbaynggirr clan totem,

Gaagal; the same themes he explores in his current solo show at China Heights Gallery, OUR TOTEM.

The Ruinart Second Skin eco-packaging at the heart of Carey’s artworks is composed of 100% natural wood fibres from eco-

managed European forests. The outcome of two years of research and development, this sustainable alternative to the traditional

gift box utilizes recycled materials and is nine times lighter, with a 60% reduction in carbon footprint.

Three of the Ruinart X Otis Hope Carey artworks will be available for purchase, with all proceeds donated to Seed Indigenous

Youth Climate Network. The remaining two artworks will travel to Ruinart to take up residence alongside other artistic partnerships

undertaken by the Maison.
